Clint Baird works for Brown Armstrong as a Certified Public Accountant with over 20 years of experience. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from California State University Bakersfield (CSUB) and earned his public accounting certification (CPA) from the California Board of Accountancy. From tax preparation and advising to financial statements and handling day-to-day operations, he utilizes his extensive knowledge of the industry to each client’s benefit.
After joining the firm in February of 2001, Clint had the opportunity train under Burt Armstrong, one of the company’s founders. His training and experience have allowed him to specialize in diversified industries, including oil/gas, construction, health care, and other sectors that require his unique level of expertise. He is a member of the CalCPA, American Institute of CPA’s, Petroleum Accountant Society of Southern California and the California Independent Petroleum Association.
Clint moved to Bakersfield, California, in 1990 and remains active in the community. Dedicated to improving the lives of children, he has coached youth baseball and football over the years and continues to show his support through his work with local organizations. Clint currently serves as the treasurer for Northwest Bakersfield Baseball Association and Children’s Advocates Resource Endowment (CARE), an organization that raises funds for youth charities in Kern County.
Clint lives in Bakersfield with his wife and two children, Hunter and Brady. When he is not working, he enjoys playing sports of all kinds and spending time with his family.
As a hands-on partner, Clint works hard to be in tune to each client’s needs. He is readily available whenever clients have a question or need prompt assistance with a financial matter. Clint emphasizes building client relationships with his dedication and personal, service-driven approach. His goal is to ensure that his clients have the knowledge they need to make informed financial decisions at any stage.
