As the firm’s public sector niche leader, Eric H. Xin has over 25 years of governmental and commercial auditing experience. He joined the firm in 1996 after graduating from California State University, Bakersfield, with a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA). He has been a partner in the firm since 2006, and his primary business focus is governmental entities audits and accounting.
Eric actively participates in various professional organizations, such as the Government Finance Officers’ Association (GFOA), State Association of County Auditors, and California Society of Certified Public Accountants Governmental Accounting and Auditing Committee. He is also a pro bono recognized reviewer for the GFOA Certificate of Achievement Award Committee. He enthusiastically contributes his time to this Award process. As he reviews ACFRs from all across the United States, he maintains up-to-date knowledge of municipal accounting principles.
As a long-standing resident of Kern County, Eric enjoys giving back to the community. He is a current board member for Habit for Humanity Golden Empire, a local non-profit chapter that helps low-income families realize their dream of homeownership. When he’s not working or serving the community, Eric spends time with his wife, Pamela, and their two children, Christina (17) and Nicolas (12). The family enjoys traveling, playing golf, and dining out together as often as they can.
Eric is a hands-on partner who works one-on-one with each client. He provides personalized auditing and accounting services based on the client’s information and individual financial situation. From helping clients resolve issues with their financials to helping them understand accounting guidelines, Eric strives to ensure clients receive the comprehensive service they require to meet their goals.
