With over 30 years of combined governmental and commercial auditing experience, Eric Xin is a trusted leader in public-sector accounting and auditing. Since joining the firm in 1996, Eric has built a distinguished career, becoming a partner in 2006. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from California State University, Bakersfield, and specializes in providing tailored auditing and accounting services to governmental entities.
Eric is deeply committed to professional excellence and stays at the forefront of industry standards. He actively participates in leading organizations, including the Government Finance Officers’ Association (GFOA), the State Association of County Auditors, and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants Governmental Accounting and Auditing Committee. As a pro bono reviewer for the GFOA Certificate of Achievement Award Committee, Eric evaluates Annual Comprehensive Financial Reports (ACFRs) from municipalities across the United States, ensuring he remains well-versed in the latest municipal accounting principles and best practices.
Beyond his professional achievements, Eric is passionate about giving back to his community. A long-time resident of Kern County, he serves on the board of Habitat for Humanity Golden Empire, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping low-income families achieve homeownership. In his personal time, Eric enjoys traveling, playing golf, and dining out with his wife, Pamela, and their two children, Christina (22) and Nicolas (16).
